2009 CLASS RULES

REVISED 3/1/09                                   DOUBLE R MUD TRACK, LLC
Class Rules
YOU ARE EXPECTED TO KNOW THE RULES.  IGNORANCE OF THE RULES IS NOT AN EXCUSE!
The rules and/or regulations set forth herein are designed to provide for the orderly conduct of racing events and to establish minimum acceptable requirements for such events. These rules shall govern the condition of all events, and by participating in these events, all participants are deemed to have complied with these rules.

NO EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF SAFETY SHALL RESULT FROM PUBLICATIONS OF, OR COMPLIANCE WITH, THESE RULES AND/OR REGULATIONS. They are intended as a guide for conduct of the sport and are in no way a guarantee against injury or death to a participant, spectator, or official.  The Track Officials shall be empowered to permit reasonable and appropriate deviation from any of the specifications herein or impose any further restrictions that in their opinion do not alter the minimum acceptable requirements.

NO EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF SAFETY SHALL RESULT FROM SUCH ALTERATION OF SPECIFICATIONS. Any interpretation or deviation of these rules is left to the discretion of the officials. Their decision is final.  The rules set forth shall be effective for 2009 racing season. The Double R Mud Track, LLC reserves the right to amend, alter, suspend, delete, or supplement these rules as conditions warrant and without any prior notice. Any changes will be posted on
www.doublermudtrack.com. It is your responsibility to be aware of changes posted. These rules shall govern the condition of all Double R Mud Track events.  Mud Racing is a competitive sport, and, like any other sporting event, it depends on fan support. There is also a great deal of showmanship and public relations required. Starting on time, running events in a professional manner, proper uniforms or attire, race trucks brightly painted and the conduct of the competitors both on and off the track must be established.

Double R Mud Track is held on private property. Any person on this property without the permission of the track owners is guilty of trespassing and subject to the penalties prescribed by law. Through your truck registration, you have been given the authority and the right to be on this property in conjunction with your mud racing activity only.   However, the track owners of the race track reserves the right to revoke and cancel this authority at any time it is felt that your presence or conduct is not in the best interest of mud racing, your fellow competitors, the fans, management, or officials of the Double R Mud Track.  Although every effort has been directed toward complete, understandable, and correct rules, as well as the same factors in putting them into print, we cannot possibly anticipate every situation, circumstance, or interpretation.  The definition of ‘OEM/Stock’ means ‘No Modifications to Factory Parts or Factory Specifications’.
